Nikki Ayres is a Cronulla Yoga teacher, health coach, retreat host and speaker who is passionate about raising awareness and speaking up about mental illness after being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2014.
Since being diagnosed Nikki has made it her commitment to speak up and be a voice for mental illness and she is organizing an event “A Night of Light”.
The aim of the event is to get the community together to become more aware of mental health issues and how to take action if they or someone they know is suffering.
“Since overcoming my battle with mental illness I have gone on to run many successful charity events, international yoga retreats and run my own yoga and coaching business,” Nikki said.
“I want to help show others that there is a life beyond a diagnosis and that recovery is possible.”
