Sutherland Shire Junior Cricket Association officials were sent scurrying for the record books thanks to the efforts of the Dollman brothers on Saturday.
Two brothers, Byron and William, made it a proud day for their family when they each took a hat-trick on the same day for the Cronulla Seagulls.
Byron, playing for the club’s under-12s B team, took 4-10 including a hat-trick against the Bangor Comets at North Caringbah.
Not to be outdone, little brother William finished with figures of 4-6 including a hat-trick of his own for Cronulla’s under-10s D division side against Gymea Bay at Seymour Shaw.
The feat, with two brothers taking two hat-tricks on the same day, is unlikely to have happened before in the shire.
