Two men are assisting investigators with inquiries after an incident during which another man was stabbed in Rockdale.
About 11pm last night, emergency services were called to Princes Highway, near Keats Avenue, Rockdale, after reports of a stabbing.
Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and found a 43-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Two men, aged 28 and 63, were arrested at the scene and taken to Kogarah Police Station where they are assisting police with inquiries.
The men are known to each other.
