Sutherland Shire residents and business operators will have the chance to learn more about consumer rights and responsibilities when the NSW Fair Trading roadshow My Place visits Cronulla next week.
Free information sessions will be held from Monday, February 19, to Friday, February 23.
Activities will be split between the Sharks leagues club and the Cronulla shopping precinct.
There will be sessions for landlords, real estate agents, motor repairers and dealers, other business traders, people building homes, strata bodies and incorporated associations.
Attorney-general and Cronulla MP Mark Speakman said My Place events had proven to be highly successful in educating consumers of their rights, while helping to raise awareness among traders about their responsibilities under consumer protection legislation.
There will be 11 information sessions offered over five days.
Residents are encouraged to register their attendance prior to the event, as spaces are limited.
