Georges River Council’s highly anticipated concert series, Music at Twilight, is set to return this year with five spectacular performances.
Now in its eighth year, the series has a proud history of bringing high-calibre musicians and entertainers from across Australia to the Georges River community.
Music at Twilight boasts an impressive and diverse range of musical and entertainment styles, with 2018 to see performances made by top-notch artists such as Sun Yi, Associate Concertmaster of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and Mirusia, the Soprano voice of the Andre Rieu concert spectaculars.
They will also feature the Sydney Concert Orchestra accompanying a ballet and dance showcase, and also feature Abbalanche leading a lively ABBA sing-a-long.
The first concert will kick-off on Wednesday 7 March at the Marana Auditorium in Hurstville with Dance Dance Dance! showcasing the Salsa Kingz and dancers from Channel 7’s Dancing with the Stars.
The night promises to be an exciting start to this much-loved series and will include dance styles such as bolero, bossa nova, cha-cha, rhumba, samba, salsa, and the tango.
