Bates Drive Public School at Kareela has received a $25,000 donation from a charity golf day run by the Feros Hotel Group.
Since 2013, the group, which operates The Prince at Kirrawee and Highfield Caringbah, has run a “pub to pub” golf challenge to raise funds for local charities.
Staff from the group’s venues join over 100 customers in the event, sponsored by suppliers.
The 2017 event was held on Friday, October 20, and hosted by The Prince.
All funds raised went to Bates Drive Special School, which caters for students from the region with special needs.
The 2018 golf challenge will be held in October and hosted by Terrey Hills Tavern.
