A partnership project between Project Youth and Westfield Miranda is launching today as part of Youth Week (April 13-22).
Project Youth has expanded its training cafe, Menai Cafe Y, with a coffee cart in the shopping centre.
The cafe employs young people who have graduated from the Menai program in partnership with TAFE NSW.
It gives them the opportunity to receive a Certificate 2 in hospitality while providing hands-on work experience.
They will also showcase their artworks including paintings and photographer, to the public.
Cafe Y Miranda will be located at centre stage from April 12-15.
Its permanent home will be on level 3, where they will also host school holiday programs including cookie decorating.
