Shire motorists have been advised to expect changed traffic conditions next week on the Princes Highway between Auburn Street and Kingsway at Kirrawee.
Road works are being carried out as part of the NSW Government’s $300 million Gateway to the South Pinch Point Program.
Part of the work along the Princes Highway at Acacia Road, Oak Road and Kingsway will involve the installation of new water main.
This work also requires a new valve system to be installed next to The Grand Parade at Sutherland.
Work to install the water main valve will be carried out for up to three night shifts between Sunday, April 29 and Sunday, May 13 from 6pm to 7am, weather permitting.
Work to install the water main will be carried out for around eight shifts between Tuesday, April 24 and Sunday, May 13 from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Roads and Maritime Services advises lane closures will be in place during work hours which may affect travel times.
