Southern Districts have slipped to their second defeat in a row, going down 23-15 to Manly on Saturday.
The Rebels welcomed their rivals from the Northern Beaches to Forshaw Rugby Park looking to bounce back from their surprise defeat to West Harbour.
Halfback Elijah Pilz and winger Luke Smart scored tries for Souths but couldn’t help the hosts from slipping to an eight-point loss.
Souths are away to Eastwood in round four of the Shute Shield on Saturday.
In the lower grades, Manly downed Souths 29-7 in second grade, 18-10 in third grade and 18-15 in fourth grade.
Manly also won Colts 1 40-20 and Colts 3 31-10 while the Rebels stopped a whitewash in winning Colts 2 27-22.
