‘The Aussies’ is the largest surf sports event of its kind and includes more than 7,000 athletes from 311 clubs around the nation competing in more than 400 beach and ocean events.
The successful 2018 Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships were held at Scarborough Beach in Western Australia, which concluded on the weekend after a week of competition.
Wanda was the best-placed finisher of the Bate Bay clubs in the club point score in eighth, with North Cronulla just behind in 12th. Cronulla were 14th with Elouera 22nd.
