Fresh off the track from the Commonwealth Games, and eager to share her story of resilience, Eloise Wellings met students at St George Christian School to instill some inspiration from her experience.
Eloise was there for a resilience workshop, and encourage students to ‘dream big’ to achieve their goals in life.
She teamed up with psychology practitioner and mental skills coach, Rory Darkins, to inspire teenagers to be positive in their aspirations.
The sports star talked about how she qualified for the Olympics at age 16, but it was not until she was injury-free she could compete in London in 2012.
Eloise also established Love Mercy Foundation, with a goal of empowering communities through sustainable programs in Northern Uganda with fellow athlete, Julius Achon.
She is now training for Tokyo 2020.
