After long summery bursts throughout early Autumn, Sydney has cooled down.
The weekend’s cold front marked the shift towards a new season, with winter-like temperatures rearing south.
Monday will be partly cloudy with a top of 20 degrees and a 50 per cent change of light showers along the coastal fringe this morning.
Large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, swimming and surfing.
Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny, but surf conditions will remain strong.
Temperatures will remain around the same for the rest of the week, with some sunny days.
