If the whispers are true, Sutherland Shire could have quite the connection to the Royal wedding.
Shire-born Tamara Ralph of UK couture label Ralph & Russo is reportedly still in the running as one of the top designers to dress Meghan Markle for the Royal wedding on Saturday.
It is no secret that the American actress is already a fan of the London-based designers, whose designs are known for their modern, feminine and creative style.
She wore a dress designed by Ralph & Russo for her engagement photo shoot.
The designers boast a famous celebrity client list including Penelope Cruz, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow and Bella Hadid, and they have 1.8 million followers on Instagram.
Tamara moved to London more than 20 years ago, and runs the fashion house as creative director with her partner in business and in life, Michael Russo.
Her parents, Gordon and Robyn, are said to still live in Caringbah.
The fashion house reportedly “politely declined” to comment but no doubt if the rumours are true, they would be extra proud of their already successful daughter, who was inspired as a child by her grandmother’s love of pattern-making.
Meghan weds Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19.
The ceremony is expected to begin about 9pm AEST.
