Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at a service station in Rockdale last month.
About 8pm on Sunday, May 13, a 19-year-old man was working behind the counter at a service station on the Princes Highway, Rockdale when a man walked inside and demanded money from the employee.
The man, believed to be armed with a knife, took the cash and ran from the store. He was last seen heading south towards Beach Street.
Police believe the robbery is linked to another robbery that occurred at a service station on Forest Road in Bexley on Monday, May 7.
The man is described as being about 180cm tall with a medium to large build and was last seen wearing a green and black striped jumper, black pants and black shoes.
Officers from St George Police Area Command attended the scene and commenced an investigation.
