A vintage Paul Gallen performance inspired Cronulla to a 24-16 victory over the Wests Tigers on Sunday.
The eight-point victory saw the Sharks climb back to just outside the NRL’s top four.
Just over 13,000 fans braved the wet, cold and windy conditions in the shire as Cronulla launched a spirited second half fightback from 10-2 down at half-time to chase down the Tigers on the back of a classic Gallen effort.
Cronulla are at home again when they host the Brisbane Broncos on Saturday night.
