Boomerang bags creating sustainable futures
Year 9 students who study textiles at Menai High School have made “boomerang bags”, which will be donated to the Bundeena community.
Boomerang Bags is a community-driven movement.
The bags create a platform to recycle or up-cycle materials and work towards shifting society’s throw away mentality to a more sustainable revolution of re-use.
Students used recycled materials, and incorporated a unique decorative illlustration on each bag.
