Minji Kang is competing in a national barista competition this month.
Hurstville barista Minji Kang is competing in the national finals of Soul Origin National Barista Competition on July 27 in Sydney’s CBD.
More than 150 baristas from across Australia have battled it out in the regional finals, and Ms Kang is one of NSW’s best.
Now in its third year, the annual competition provides an opportunity for passionate coffee-loving baristas to showcase their skills.
Ms Kang has worked at Soul Origin for a year, and was a barista in Korea before she moved to Australia.
She has the chance to win a trip to the New York Coffee Festival in October this year.
