ANSTO Top Coder Competition is calling for talented young coders to take part in a competition.
In 2018, students will be asked to program robots.
Sutherland North Public School will host the first robotics competition on August 2, and will involve pupils from Kareela, Caringbah North, Sutherland, Sutherland North and Bald Face public schools.
Schools are invited to put forward two pupils in the competition, from year 5 and 6.
They will work collaboratively in a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere with coding and robotics coaches, and develop ideas into finished games, animations, art music or stories.
Those who participate will develop take part in a series of challenges, building their skills and competency in code and construction towards a final battle at the end of the day.
