Police investigating several break-and-enters in Sydney’s south have arrested and charged a teenager today.

Police will allege in court a stolen dark-coloured Mercedes SUV and a silver Holden sedan drove from the area and were involved in a pursuit; however, it was later terminated due to the manner of driving.
The front passenger of the Mercedes, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested on the Kingsway, Woolooware, as the other occupants allegedly fled the vehicle.
He was taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence – people there, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, steal motor vehicle, and passenger not disclose driver's/other passenger's identity.
He was refused bail and is due to appear before a children’s court tomorrow (Tuesday 17 July 2018).
As inquiries continue, anyone with information is urged to come forward.
