Three staff members have clocked up 60 years of combined service to Peakhurst aged care provider, IRT.
Beverly Phillips has worked as a carer and activity officer at the facility for 25 years, Joy Hearn for 15 years as an activity officer and team leader, and Donna Thomson has worked there for 20 years.
Mrs Thomson says she enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of residents and their families.
“Whether it be as simple as a good morning chat or a wave goodbye as I drive out at night, or a major change such as housing a person who is at risk of homelessness or helping someone relocate to be closer to children and grandchildren, every day we are doing great things to ensure our older Australians are receiving the quality of life they deserve,” she said.
