Kingsgrove man critical after hit-and-run
A Kingsgrove man was hit by a car at Belmore yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Burwood Road at about 5am on June 19 when where they found a man injured on the roadway.
The 77-year-old was taken to St George Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
It’s believed the man was struck by a white utility that was travelling north towards Lakemba Street.
The vehicle failed to stop after hitting the man.
Police from Campsie Police Area Command are investigating the incident and appealing for public assistance.
