Police have charged two people with high-range drink driving after stopping the same vehicle twice.
A woman driver, 37, failed a breath test and was arrested after a Holden Captiva was stopped on General Holmes Drive, Mascot, at 2am on Saturday..
Forty-five minutes later, police stopped the same car on the M5 East at Mascot.
The male driver, 52, failed a roadside breath test, and was also arrested.
Police allege the woman recorded a reading of 0.183 in a police station breath analysis test, while the man’s reading was 0.159.
The man, a Fijian national, was charged with high-range drink driving and had his visiting driver privileges within NSW withdrawn.
He is due to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on August 9.
The woman was issued a court attendance notice for high-range drink driving and is due to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on September 6.
