Aiming high: An early concept plan for future development of the 1.48 ha site at east Hurstville, known as the Landmark site.
Re “Hurstville Rises in the East" (Leader, August 1).
When are Georges River Council going to get it? The locals don’t want to see multi-storey apartment blocks on every available building site in our region.
I bet these developers don’t live anywhere near where they want to build such monstrous eyesores with inadequate parking, and if they did, I bet they wouldn’t want these buildings near them either.
I thought our new council was all about stopping over-development.
Enough is enough, it has to stop.
