A decade of all things wild and free was on show at Hazelhurst Arts Centre for the 1960’s Fair Fest on Sunday, August 12.
There was everything from wacky and wonderful dresses that tested hemline limits to winged eyeliner and revved-up car displays galore for engine enthusiasts.
A Hazelhurst spokeswoman said around 5000 visitors enjoyed the 60s Fair which was “hugely successful”.
The fair brought out those who remembered the era well – and a younger generation who just had fun bopping to the rock.
Authentic vintage clothing and jewellery was a hit, and the girls stepped up to the beehive beauty make-over tent for a look reminiscent of years gone by.
The event was supported by Sutherland Shire Council.
