Amnesty International’s Sutherland action group is screening the acclaimed film Human Flow at Event Cinemas, Miranda, on September 10.
The film, shot in 23 countries over the course of a year, is directed by Chinese-born artist Ai Wei Wei, and aims to give a human face to the 65 million people displaced by war, famine, persecution and climate change.
Human Flow shows the very human face of the worldwide humanitarian crisis of people who, through no fault of their own, find themselves stateless.
The film shows the causes and consequences of statelessness are wide-ranging.
The screening is on September 10 at 6.30pm.
