An all-girl tech team from St Joseph's Como Primary School has won the national iAward in the junior student division for a creative app design. They launched an app called HappyNess, to help girls between the ages of five to 12 deal with stress and anxiety through humour, meditation, exercise, music therapy and positive affirmations. The year 5 team placed first in the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) awards, an awards program for innovation in the digital economy.
