This year is a special one for Keith and Jacqueline Lonard.
The Burraneer couple will celebrate a long and happy 50 years of marriage.
They met in Toronto, Canada, where they were on separate working holidays. Mr Lonard was from Sydney and his wife-to-be, from Derbyshire in the UK.

They married on her birthday – September 28 in Littleover, Derby, and spent their honeymoon touring the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Sydney was where they settled, raising their two daughters, Sally and Jayne, at Hurstville Grove.
They look forward to spending time with their children and grand-children on their anniversary.
