Re ‘‘Work begins on Heathcote Road bridge’’ (Leader, September 5).
I hope they don’t waste money on a bridge like the one at Deadmans Creek, Sandy Point.
They need to have some foresight and build a new high-rise bridge like the one across the same river at Sutherland, that will be able to handle the traffic and eliminate all those uphill and downhill curves.
How many more people need to be maimed or killed before some action is taken?
