An Australian fur seal basked in the waters off Cronulla's Oak Park on Saturday morning no doubt enjoying the glorious spring sunshine.
Cronulla’s Richard Morey took these photos of the seal as it rolled around in the water as outside temperatures reached 30 degrees.
“The seal spent some hours near Oak Park pool just sunning itself in the water and warming itself by exposing its flippers to the sun,” Mr Morey said.
The Australian Museum site says the seals are protected in Australia but vulnerable to disturbance at breeding sites and commercial fishing operations.
