Oyster Bay’s Krissy Stanley is set to feature in a new show called My Fabulous Life.
The pilot also stars Christa Billich of Billich Galleries, and she has also appeared on the Real Housewives of Sydney.
Also part of the reality show is Tziporah Malkah, Charles Billich and beauty-go-to-gal, Matty Samaei, who also starred in Real Housewives of Sydney.
Ms Stanley describes the show as hilarious.
“It’s all about Christa and me...a gal from the Shire,” she said.
“We cover everything from Botox, beauty and booze, with a massive dose of laughter.”
This is Ms Stanley’s third film she had made with producer Thomas Grainger.
“We hatched a plan to film a TV pilot – something funny, refreshing and real,” she said.
The show looks at Christa who is very ‘Double Bay’ – she has two Louis Vuitton dog carriers for her pooches worth $8000, whereas I’m just a shire gal who loves Best & Less and knockoffs.
“We have botox, go shopping, drink champagne constantly, and never stop laughing. In the final scene, our drag queen friends make Christa and I dress up in drag.”
The cast has been filming for the past five weeks, wrapping up this weekend.
The film will then be edited and pitched to Netflix and Stan.
“Last year we also all entered a film in Tropfest that was shortlisted,” Ms Stanley said. “It was called Adventure Before Dementia, and it has just made it as a finalist in the famous Hot Springs Documentary Festival, with the winner being announced next month.”
