A chance to see some of the best brick and block creators work their hands to make cities and more, is on in November.
Block by block, pupils from Hurstville South Public School will build and create some masterpieces for its annual St George Brickfair on November 18.
The fair will showcase more than half a million blocks that have been built into Lego displays.
This marks the fourth year of the family fun event, which always draws big crowds and raises money for the school.
In 2018, money will go towards repaving the school playground to maximise the limited space children have for extra-curricular activities.
There will also be a play area for kids who feel inspired after viewing the exhibitions, plus a games rooms where children can enter a competition.
The fair is on from 10am-4pm.
Entry is $6.
There is also a ‘mini-figs’ out and about Instagram competition. As part of the lead up to fair, the school’s P&C is running a contest that gives kids the chance to be in the running for Lego prizes or VIP tickets to the fair. Take a creative photo of your mini-fig or Lego creation, somewhere outdoors. It can be a selfie or an artistic shot of the mini figures. Post it on Instagram and tag it #SGBF2018 and #LEGO, and follow #lego360world. Entries close 5pm, November 16.
