A ground search in the Royal National Park for missing man Aaron Payne has been called off.
Mr Payne, a Sutherland Shire hearing support teacher, has been missing since Saturday, October 20.
NSW Police confirm the search on land for the 32-year-old has been suspended, as of last night.
But Marine Area Command will keep searching the foreshore when conditions are suitable.
Mr Payne has not been seen or heard from since he parked his vehicle on Beachcomber Avenue, Bundeena, and walked into bushland at the start of the Coast Track.
Emergency crews launched a full scale search for the teacher and experienced naturalist, who was reportedly in the park at night studying frogs for a research project.
