A novel idea from Burraneer to Fiji as students start a new chapter
Disadvantaged students in remote villages in Fiji have turned a new page in their education.
Thanks to a thoughtful gesture from staff and students at Our Lady of Mercy College (OLMC) Burraneer, students at Kadavu Provincial Secondary School made use of the Sutherland Shire school’s old furniture.
The school received a display unit to house its books, and a conference table, which will be transformed into a computer lab.
