After a hot start to November, there's cool relief ahead in Sydney this coming week, with temperatures easing back into the 20s.
“The temperatures we’ve had over the past few days were fairly exceptional, whereas this week we’re looking at 28 on Monday and 29 Tuesday," said Weatherzone forecaster Lachlan Maher.
"It’s still above average but trending towards about average by the end of the week."
Friday and Saturday saw temperatures soar to the mid-30s in Sydney before a mild, cool change arrived on Saturday afternoon.
After a start to the week in the high 20s, Wednesday is expected to drop further, with tops of 25 degrees, with a very high chance of rain.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted up to 30 millimetres of rainfall for the day.
A further temperature fall is likely on Thursday, dropping to 20 degrees, before warming slightly for the weekend.
