Sweet tooth heaven has come to Ramsgate with Tella Balls Dessert Bar opening its ninth store in Sydney last Thursday.
Tella Balls Dessert Bar was founded by Aki Daikos and his business partner Simon Kappatos who wanted to create a unique recognisable brand for dessert lovers.
Since opening their first outlet in Dulwich Hill in 2016, the franchise has quickly become a dessert powerhouse across Sydney with the successful launch of dessert bars in Castle Hill, Liverpool and Wetherill Park earlier this year and now Ramsgate.
Tella Balls Dessert Bar is home to an array of over the top, thoughtfully created Nutella-filled desserts, including the original Tella Ball doughnut, a light and fluffy doughnut ball drizzled in cinnamon sugar and filled with oozing Nutella goodness.
Sweet tooths can also gorge on doughnut sliders, doughnut fries, doughnut ice-cream cones, dessert lasagne, dessert kebab, house made crepes and pancakes.
And now for the first time, foodies can enjoy a more holistic gastronomic experience, with breakfast and savoury food now being available at Tella Balls.
“We felt Ramsgate would be a great central location for our sweeties as it is fast becoming a thriving food hub with lots of foodies in and around the area,” founder and co-owner, Aki Daikos said.
“It was a calculated decision and finding the right location was imperative, so after much research, we landed on this site which has high exposure and ample parking.”
Co-owner Simon Kappatos said more Tella Balls outlets are planned to open across Sydney and beyond.
“By the end of 2020, we aim to have 15 to 20 stores across NSW,” Mr Kappatos said.
The Tella Balls Dessert Bar space offers its original dessert menu including its signature Dessert Lasagne, which boasts layers of decadent mousse and fresh cream on a chocolate biscuit base and lashings of Nutella served with vanilla bean gelato.
It’s all washed down with a Tella Ball Slider, which involves house made Nutella flavoured gelato sandwiched between The Original Tella Ball, drizzled with Nutella and topped with Cadbury Flakes.
Tella Balls Dessert Bar Ramsgate opened its doors last Thursday, November 8, at 336-340 Rocky Point Road, Ramsgate.
