Work is almost complete on a new splash park and children’s playground at Symbio Wildlife Park.
The latest attractions at the family run zoo are set to have their grand opening on Saturday, November 24.
And when they open, access is included as part of the standard admission and with every season pass to guarantee a cool summer of fun among the animals at Symbio.
Symbio marketing manager Kevin Fallon said the splash park is set on a 500sqm pad and is the most expensive infrastructure project ever undertaken in Symbio’s 45-year history.
“The Splash Park will have a large dump bucket and heaps of water tunnels, squirters and water sprayers to keep the kids entertained all summer long,” Mr Fallon said.
He said the brand-new playground will have swings, flying foxes, jumping pads, slides and a fortress.
“The installation of the new Splash Park as well as the new playground opening at the same time it gives people somewhere they can spend the entire day and know the children are not going to get bored. And it is a safe place where kids can splash around, play and have fun,” Mr Fallon said.
