Meet Poppy the Schnauzer, winner of the Best Dressed Dog competition at this year’s Moore Reserve Dog Park Christmas Party.
There was ruff competition on the catwalk which some colourful canine Christmas costumes but Poppy’s angel outfit won out as presenting the festive spirit of the day.
The Moore Reserve Dog Park Christmas Party followed last year’s successful event and allowed dogs and their owners to get together to celebrate the festive season.
Highlights of the day included Doggy Trivia, Dog Races, Best Dressed Dog competition and Musical Dog, which is similar to Musical Chairs except it is the dogs that have to sit when the music stops.
Dozens of dog owners exercise and socialise their dogs in Moore Reserve every day which has fenced and unfenced off-leash areas.
