A man has drowned after being washed off rocks at the Royal National Park.
About 4pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Little Marley Beach in the Royal National Park, after reports a man had been washed off the rocks.
Police have been told, two men had been washed into the water; however, one was able to climb back up the rock ledge.
The NSW Ambulance helicopter attended and retrieved the man still in the water before landing nearby.
Despite efforts to revive him, the man was declared deceased.
Officers from Sutherland Police Area Command attended and are speaking to witnesses.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
