The DA submitted by the EBP RSL Club to Bayside Council for a five storey car park in the Wolli Creek Valley at Bardwell Valley is a contentious development and driven by gambling interests.
It will go to the Bayside Council Planning Panel for consideration.
It is unbelievable that Earlwood residents whose properties face the club were not notified by Bayside Council of the proposed DA because of a council border.
Is the social contract between government and the people so broken that no courtesy is be given if you live on the other side of the line?
The EPB RSL Club does not need more parking but it does need some manners.
It doesn’t care about its community but rather the ka-ching of money going into a pokie.
