Three tribute performances, more than 30 hits, all in one big live show.
That’s what Australian Trilogy is promising to deliver at the Heathcote Hotel.
Frontman Chris Cooke says concert goers on December 16 will hear hits from Midnight Oil, Hoodoo Gurus and Crowded House.
Cooke, who plays the roles of Neil Finn, Dave Faulkner and Peter Garrett, is supported by some of the country’s top musicians.
Originally from NZ, Cooke said he became a front man “accidentally”.
“I was playing drums for a band in New Zealand and we landed a recording deal but our singer who recorded the demo left, which left the band without a singer,” he said.
“I just accidentally became the singer and didn’t play the drums anymore. I was now the front man and the guitar player and vocalist.”
Cooke will bring some of Australia’s classic rock songs to the stage when he performs in the shire
“The audience can expect to hear Mean To Me, It’s Only Natural, Message To My Girl, Power and the Passion, Brave Faces, King of the Mountain, Bittersweet, Come Anytime and many more.
‘‘We are very much looking forward playing at this great venue and dealing out these iconic hits.”
Australian Trilogy have also been secured to perform at Sutherland Shire Council’s Australia Day Celebrations in 2019.
- Catch them at the Heathcote Hotel on Sunday, December 16 from 4pm.
