A Sutherland Shire woman who allegedly clocked more than 200km/h while driving with an unrestrained toddler at Helensburgh has been identified in court as Margarita Tomovska.
The 27-year-old allegedly sparked a police chase the night of November 13, after patrolling officers from Strike Force Raptor spotted the high performance car – a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG - on the Princes Motorway.
Police will allege Tomovska pulled over to the roadside, only to take off at speed, continuing northbound for almost 10km before coming to a stop.
Tomovska and a male passenger were arrested as they got out of the car.
Police found an unrestrained toddler in the backseat while inspecting the car.
The Mercury understands the E63 AMG trades for about $260,000, when bought new.
Police say the three-year-old girl was physically uninjured, but officers were required to assist in calming her from a state of distress.
The man was released; Tomovska was taken to Wollongong Police Station, where her licence was suspended.
She was charged with police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously and exceed speed by more than 45km/h.
She was granted strict conditional bail.
Meantime, police have reported the incident to Family and Community Services.
Tomavska, , of Alfords Point, did not enter a plea during a brief appearance in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday morning.
She trained her camera phone on reporters as she departed, but said nothing.
Her case was adjourned to January 8.
