Cronulla Men’s Probus members made a splash when they wore Santa hats for their regular paddle on the Woronora River.
The “Christmas Kayakers” were greeted with friendly waves and cries of Merry Christmas from riverfront residents, workers and cafe patrons.
“We thought we would add some fun to our usual kayaking activity and it seems that everyone enjoyed it,” said organiser Gary Daniels.
The men’s group enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, and recent challenges have included whitewater rafting, go-kart racing and treetop ziplining.
Cronulla Probus offers regular adventure activities for retired men as well as a full range of social, sporting, entertainment and touring opportunities.
The group meets on the third Monday in the month at Cronulla Golf Club at 10am with a guest speaker from 11.00am. Visitors are welcome.
