A man was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries after falling from a Cronulla hotel balcony while reportedly intoxicated.
The accident took place on Saturday night when the 28-year-old man was climbing between two balconies at the Rydges hotel.
He fell eight metres and landed on a lower balcony.
Police are treating the incident as 'misadventure'.
According to 7 News, the man may have been intoxicated and trying to jump onto a neighbouring balcony when he fell.
