George Kambosos Junior has continued his march towards a world title with a dominant victory over Rey Perez in Las Vegas.
The 25-year-old from Sylvania won all eight rounds to secure victory via unanimous decision on the undercard to Manny Pacquiao’s successful World Boxing Association welterweight title defence against Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand.
The win saw Kambosos improve his professional record to an unblemished 16-0.
Kambosos has been working as Pacquiao’s chief sparring partner for the Filipino legend’s last three fights.
Kambosos controlled the bout from start to finish, scoring a 80-72 victory.
Kambosos took to social media to celebrate his win, calling it a “boxing masterclass.”
“16-0 and still undefeated!!” he wrote.
“A boxing masterclass of speed, power, precision, defence, stamina, footwork and dominance over Rey Perez. Big thank you to my team.”
