Peakhurst United will again hold their women in football Pink Ribbon gala day to raise money to help fight women’s cancers.

The club held the inaugural event last year with its second edition to be held at their home ground, Peakhurst Park, next Sunday, March 3.

The club aimed to raise $5000 last year and are again looking for women’s teams from St George, the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas to play in the gala day.

All money raised will go towards the support of breast cancer research, with the event held to assist in raising money for the Cancer Council to fund vital support services, prevention and research into breast and gynaecological cancers.

The day is open to all age women's teams. The seven-a-side tournament will feature 20 minute games.

Online donations can be made here.
