Connor O'Leary is proving to be an unstoppable force, winning his second contest in a row in taking out the 3000 point VISSLA Central Coast Pro on Monday.
O'Leary took down world No.6 Owen Wright in the semi-final before a 10-point ride in the final saw him dominate former WSL pro Matt Banting.
“This is a bit of a dream come true to start my 2019 like this,” O’Leary said.
“That final was definitely a solid confidence boost, especially coming up against someone like Matt who has been absolutely tearing lately. My whole goal is to hopefully keep the momentum going into the rest of 2019 and hopefully get a few more results over the year.
"This is my first time in Avoca also, so I walk away from here with a heap of good memories.”
The win rockets O'Leary up to sixth in the world qualifying rankings on 4000 points and keeps his contest average at 100 percent.

The forecast is for this ENE swell to swing around weirdly to the south tonight and pulse tomorrow at around four to six foot in the morning before dying quickly leaving us with two to three foot of ENE again all weekend, with variable winds from the sou-east.
