The Irish Connection is one of Sydney’s most exciting Irish ballad bands.

The band is made up of three talented, award winning multi-instrumentalists; Cameron Mather (vocals/banjo/guitar), Matt Tone (banjo/mandolin/vocals) and Jimmy Carroll (vocals/guitar).

Cameron has been performing both solo and in bands for over 10 years and has supported a range of touring Irish artists including Finbar Furey and Damien Dempsey.

Both Matt and Jimmy were long term members of the famous Irish Drovers, touring all around Australia in pubs and clubs, supporting many international acts and even playing residencies on the QE2.
