After days of missing phone calls from NSW Lotteries, a man from the St George district has finally answered his phone to the exciting news he’s suddenly $200,000 richer.
The player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1243, drawn Monday March 11.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts contacting the winner, a NSW Lotteries official finally got in touch with the man this morning to break the exciting news.
“I saw I had a few missed calls late last week but I didn’t know who it was so I decided not to answer,” he said.
“I am so glad I finally chose to answer your call this morning. I had no idea this news was on the other end of the phone. What an incredible surprise! I feel fantastic.”
The man revealed he wasn’t a regular Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot player but the climbing jackpot prize had caught his attention.
“I’ve been playing lottery games for a few years now,” he said.
“But recently I’ve been watching the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot keep going up and up and thought I should give it a go. I’m so glad I did!
“I’ll pay some bills but I’m also hoping to spoil the family. Maybe take them on a holiday.”
