ANSTO celebrates female contributions in the scientific field

ANSTO was female central this month in celebration of International Women's Day (March 8).

The facility at Lucas Heights opened its doors to more than 50 female STEM students, who had the opportunity to learn from inspiring female scientists.

Kirrily Rule and Katie Sizeland encouraged a group of students to become passionate about building careers in science.

Dr Rule is a neutron scattering instrument scientist, and Dr Sizeland, is a biomedical materials scientist who carries out studies with agricultural industries.
