The Cronulla Leagues Swimming Club will celebrate its 50th anniversary in May.
The club swims all year round at the Cronulla Sports Complex in handicapped races.
They also hold carnivals frequently with surrounding clubs and compete in the AIF Championships.
The championships were held recently in Melbourne where several Cronulla Leagues swimmers were crowned age champions, including Barbara Murphy who won the Ladies 85-years plus 25 metres freestyle championship. While Jason Mable won the men's 30-34 years 50m freestyle from clubmate Chris Whitehouse in third.
The club's membership ranges in age from 14 to 87-years-old.
The club are attempting to contact as many former members as possible to attend their gala dinner at Cronulla Leagues Club on May 18.
